2, anti-corrosion, although all components of the portable Leeb hardness tester have done a rust-proof treatment, but if not properly maintained or not paid attention to maintenance conditions in the production site long-term use, may also make some parts rust. Use should be noted that, in addition to regular wipe, with special attention to prevent water, many parts will rust after the water, the header will rust and the water will cause the instrument scrapped;
3, anti-drop. The instrument is made up of many precision parts that, if dropped, will cause permanent damage to certain parts;
4, do not disassemble. Leeb hardness measurement accuracy assurance, depends on the good cooperation of some precision components. Therefore, no further disassembly shall be permitted except for parts that are allowed to be removed during calibration.
Portable Leeb hardness tester pre-operation preparation. Place a standard hardness block between the anvil and the pressure pin, hold the handle, apply enough pressure, and read the meter reading. If the reading of the gauge head is the same as that of the standard hardness block, the instrument does not need to be calibrated, on the contrary, it must be calibrated.
Portable Leeb hardness tester operating procedures are mainly divided into the following three steps:
1, the flat, clean sample or the test piece on the pressure needle and anvil, the measured surface should be pressed;
2, hold the upper and lower handle, smooth, even afterburner, until the upper and lower handle feel the pressure is in the end to. At this point, the pressure needle sleeve end has been pressed firmly on the test piece. Although more force can be applied, it is not necessary and does not affect the readings. Because the hardness value will depend entirely on the load spring test force;
